Following the Microsoft-LinkedIn integration in late 2016, LinkedIn finally introduced LinkedIn Lookup, a new feature designed for companies with a large number of employees.
Using information such as title, skill, or expertise, users can easily find coworkers within the platform. The new feature also comes with a messaging service that allows coworkers to communicate and learn about each other through their profiles.
LinkedIn Lookup is available on desktop and mobile, and as an application for both iOS and android users.
While Facebook recently unveiled its latest job search feature earlier this month, LinkedIn has been rolling out several updates, features, and improvements in the past two months and will continue to do so in the coming months. This could mean that the horizontal expansion of the rival social network may still not be a cause for alarm for the largest professional network.
